The NICU is located on the fifth floor of St. Louis Children’s Hospital. Please ask for directions to the elevators to the fifth floor at the front information desk of the hospital.

To arrange transfer of your infant, speak to your child’s current physician about transfer. Your current physician can help arrange for transfer by contacting Children’s Direct at 1-800-678-HELP (4357) to be connected with a neonatologist and the St. Louis Children’s Hospital Transport Team. The Transport Team, which can include nurses, paramedics and physicians under direction of a medical control neonatologist in the NICU at St. Louis Children’s Hospital, will come to the hospital where your baby is hospitalized and safely transport him or her back to St. Louis Children’s Hospital.
